Who are we

My name is Giorgio Ruggieri, founder of Heroic Wars HQ LLC.

Heroic Wars HQ LLC is not a massive studio. We are not a giant company with endless funding, hundreds of employees, or a polished corporate machine behind us. Right now, we are something much smaller than that — and maybe something more honest.

We are a small creative business built on vision, persistence, pain, imagination, and the belief that a fantasy world can become something real if you refuse to let it disappear.

Where it all began

At the heart of that dream is Paragonfall.

Paragonfall did not begin as a product. It did not begin as a brand. It did not even have a name when the first ideas started forming. It began as an escape.

Years ago, after suffering a traumatic brain injury, I spent a month in a coma. Recovery was not simple, clean, or cinematic. It was brutal. I had to rebuild pieces of my life while learning how fragile the body really is. For a time, I recovered enough to believe the worst was behind me. Then life changed again.

After multiple brain surgeries, I began dealing with the consequences of a skull rejection. Migraines, vertigo, seizures, and physical limitations returned. I became disabled again after fighting so hard to recover the first time. My body started putting walls around what I could do. But my mind did not stop.

When my body limited me, my imagination became the place where I could still move freely. I started dreaming of a world far beyond my pain — a world of fallen empires, impossible heroes, divine corruption, war, sacrifice, monsters, factions, legends, and people fighting against forces much larger than themselves. That was the seed of Paragonfall.

Current Time

It has now been around four years since the first ideas began. Back then, it was just fragments. Characters. Factions. Scenes. Concepts. Pieces of a universe that did not fully exist yet.

Since then, through two more brain surgeries and everything that came with them, that small idea has grown into something real.

Today, Paragonfall has 3D models, short stories, visual and audio storytelling, printable art, a video game & board game in development. It is still growing, still imperfect, and still being built piece by piece.

And the scale of the dream is bluntly ridiculous.

We are trying to build a full fantasy universe.

Not just a few characters. Not just a game. Not just miniatures. Not just art. A universe.

A world with its own factions, histories, conflicts, tragedies, heroes, monsters, belief systems, wars, and cinematic stories. A world that can live across short stories, tabletop games, 3D printable models, digital games, art, animation, and eventually much more. That is not a small goal. I know that.

But Paragonfall was never born from small emotions. It came from pain, survival, faith, frustration, imagination, and the need to create something bigger than the circumstances I was trapped in.

Right now, our team is small. In many ways, it is mostly me, AI, and the benevolent friends who have been able to see what Paragonfall could become before the rest of the world does. Honestly, that matters.

The Goal

What we are offering is not just files, models, or artwork. We are offering the beginning of a world. A world that we hope will one day become a place where family and friends can come together physically and virtually. A place where people can play, imagine, collect, read, build, paint, and escape for a while. Because that is the real reason Paragonfall exists.

We will not stop until Paragonfall can provide an escape for people who have it much harder than me in their lives. People who do not always have the blessing, the space, or the ability to step away from the difficult circumstances life has placed in front of them. If this world helped me survive, then maybe one day it can help someone else feel less trapped too. That is the dream. That is Heroic Wars HQ LLC. That is Paragonfall. We are only getting started.
